The time has come to bid farewell to this lovely city which I have enjoyed so much. Yesterday evening was a lot of fun. Met up with some great people and had an amazing meal for only 12 euros. Not only was the food good but the people and conversation was magical aswell. Thanks guys. (PS, if you are reading this, definitely start following the queens blog lol lol....Im sure you will find it amusing at times).
Not long to go now before I head back to airport and board a plane back to London. 2.5 days in Athens was enough for me. I managed to see everything I wanted to see. Next time I come here I would like to do a couple of day trips and of course do the Greek Islands......summertime watch out this may be a destination.
Thank you Athens for being easy to get around, clean, great transport, yummy food and for the hostel as I met some great people who I shall hopefully catch up with again when travelling to their parts of the world.
Back to reality tomorrow, however for now shall enjoy the plane ride home and then the journey home. Looking to seeing Nero, my adoring cat and my bed.
