I sit and type this during my lunch break at work surprised that I have access to my blog in the first place.
How things change so quickly is beyond me, firstly last week the weather in London was absolutely stunning. All the women were wearing beautiful colours, dresses and the sunglasses were out for all. This week however its not as warm and for the Royal Wedding tomorrow it appears heavy showers is forecast. There goes all the street parties and bbq's organised.
You know an old wives tale says that when it rains on your wedding day it means your marriage will grow like flower/tree and last forever. Its a nice tale and I wish it comes true for the future king of England.
My facebook hiatus is over, yipee. I managed to hold out till Good Friday which is officially the last day of Lent, however it did become a topic of contentious as my friends believed it should have been Easter Sunday. Either way I was pleased to have made it that far. I cannot believe how many people actually missed all my usual nonsense. I know I missed being able to update stuff.
I guess what I didn't miss and am slightly thankful for not having access to facebook during that week is the updating of my relationship status. On my last blog the fireman and I became official and he did indeed meet all my friends. However by the Thursday of that week, 30mins before my birthday he decided that he was no longer ready for a relationship. So there is no fireman anymore. He will never to be spoken or seen ever again. The embarrassment I could have caused myself had I been on facebook my relationship status would have gone from 'in a relationship' to 'single' in 4 days lol.
Also I finally changed my mobile number this week. I did this so I don't contact my ex and he cannot contact me ever again. It took me a long time but time to let go of the past. He was like a bad drug, worse than heroin really.....cause I couldn't kick the habit. Now I have. Decided I was sick of being treated like shit by people that do not add value to my life whatsoever.
Some exciting stuff that happened since my last post:
* Got my CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) for a 125cc Motorbike.
* Joined a triathlon club and train with them 6 days a week (LOVE IT)
* I'm booked to go to Bologna, Italy this Saturday for 3 days (YIPEE)
* I turned 34
As usual there is a lot planned for the coming months, we have 3 triathlons, 2 fun runs, a trip to Portugal, a trip to Italy, got to purchase a motorbike and all the kit and continue to pay off debt!
On a parting note, life is what you make it. Last week I was on a downer cause of everything that had happened with the fireman (he really confused me), but I had to shake it off and move on. You cant change someone else's behaviour or thoughts but you sure do have control over your own.
So go out there and live it the way you would be proud off and how your like to be remembered when you die!
