Queen's Jubilee Weekend, 2nd- 5th June, London UK

What a weekend and what a celebration! So many people complain about working past 65 and here the Queen, is still working at 86! You go girl!

I must say I was a little disappointed with my street in Richmond...no one was flying the British flag or even bunting from their windowsills. Most disappointing.

Well my weekend was quite busy!

Saturday started out with a great training session, cycle to Shepperton Lake, completed 1.5km swim, then cycled over to Bushy Park for a 5km run and then cycled home, a total of 30km on the bike. Then I was off to a lovely amazing lunch with a friend and some of her friends. She was spoiling me for my birthday. The other surprise for the day was attending the Coldplay Concert! OMG what a show. I am so honoured to have been spoilt all expenses paid all day! Thank you to my dear friend, Elaine xxxx

Sunday saw me heading out to the @ApplecartFestival in Victoria Park with my dear friend Liesel. Shame about the bloody weather, it poured on and off all day, but pretty much poured down with rain most of the day. A couple of things I can say about this day was I don't like East London unfortunately, not enough to live anyway and @ApplecartFestival was fun and would be a great day out if the weather is sunny and warm.

Monday I raced my 3rd triathlon for the season. I blogged about that earlier today, so I wont go on about it here. Definitely learnt that I do have power to do anything but also that I prefer triathlons that are non pool based.

Tuesday saw me wake up from a 13 hour sleep. A much needed sleep. I must have been so exhausted with all the training that I have been up to lately that my body simply needed to sleep. Then I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with @Meganfaysmith where we watched #W.E and #MachineGunPreacher both great films and enjoyed some naughty food.

I didn't attend any jubilee celebrations, my street didn't have a street party (I wish they had) but I did have a great busy fun jam packed weekend. I also loved that I was in the UK for the Queen's 60th Anniversary. #GodSavetheQueen

Till next time
