My motto! - You don't ask, You don't get!

So a thought came to mind and I of course tweeted it (@Supergal007) 'I wonder if I approached companies within the sport, would they be interested in supporting my journey and in return I will blog, tweet, facebook, instagram and generally promote and spread the word about their brand?' A lot of the responses on Twitter were encouraging but also realistic....you need to be a pro, or you know be good at triathlon. Well I was neither, I am definitely no pro or age grouper and I am sure as hell not fast like a lot of people I know BUT I am extremely good at social media, selling myself as a brand and spreading the word if I believe in it. 

I decided then and there, 'You don't ask, you don't get' so I started asking companies via twitter and directly via their website if they wanted to join #TeamTarsh. I am pleased to say persistence sometimes pays off. After some communication back and forth I am very excited to announce that I have secured two supporters of my Ironman journey so far with some more discussions continuing to progress. The two supporters to join my team are 'nuun hydration' and 'HUUB design'.
