Gideon Bright is the man behind the brand and company. He is based in North Devon, UK and is surfer, actor, graphic designer and of course owner of Dryrobe.
The design and build of the very first dryrobe is based on an idea that his mother gave him when he was young. After she saw him always cold whilst changing in the Godrevy carpark or whenever he was surfing, she got her sewing machine up and whipped what she called a 'Hatty Fattener'. It was waterproof, had a hood with poppers and towelling on the inside, basically a large hooded cape. After years of thought, care, blood, sweat and tears.....the Dryrobe was created.
This is an essential piece of kit for all swimmers, surfers, triathletes, duathletes.....coaches that are constantly outdoors and poolside and many many more!
