Just as the title states, last night I was appointed Ladies Captain for my local triathlon club in London - Thames Turbo Triathlon Club. I am really excited and I hope I can represent the females in our club well.
My main goal is to encourage and increase the amount of females within our club to participate in the 2014 Club Championships.
This year I won the Overall Female Club Champion award, not because I came first in any of the events, cause I didn't but because I participated in most of the events. The Club Championships is about participation and being supported by your fellow club mates when you are out there racing.
I look forward to 2014 and the exciting new adventure ahead in addition to completing my first Ironman.
